For over 50 years, summer in Perth would not be as glorious as it is without the ability to round up friends and family, pack a picnic with bottle of wine, and head outdoors to go to the movies. For four months from December to April this nightly feast of film is the most popular event in the Festival calendar, with over 80,000 attendances. The casual, laid back atmosphere fits perfectly after a long day at the office - or on the beach! And it's so much more than a night in the confines of a cinema - outdoor movies are a social occasion that can't be bettered!
