As if dazzling beaches and pristine rainforests weren’t enough to please – the coastal Queensland city of Mackay also boasts a spectacular Entertainment Centre. Whether you’re seeking the rich cultural experience gained in seeing a good opera, classical performance or thought provoking theatre piece, or whether light hearted comedy, cabaret or musicals are more your scene – the Mackay Entertainment Centre has something for the whole family.

When the sun goes down you can rock the night away - the Centre regularly hosts performances by some of Australia’s hottest musical acts – Thirsty Merc, David Campbell, Guy Sebastian, Paul Kelly and Kasey Chambers have all rocked the auditorium here.

The Mackay Entertainment Centre is also proud host to the annual Mackay Festival of the Arts, and other community driven concerts such as the Annual SeaFM in Control Rock Eisteddfod Challenge.

In 2008, the Mackay Entertainment Centre proudly celebrates 20 years of bringing live theatre and performances to the city of Mackay.
