About MyTickets

OUR GOAL

MyTickets goal is to ‘Help you find tickets faster’. Just think of us like a search engine for tickets – and only tickets.

We dont sell tickets. Instead, we help solve the often time–consuming and frustrating task of finding tickets.

Instead of jumping from website to website, and from phonecall to phonecall, we offer consumers a one–stop destination to find the tickets they want.

We have event listings from all major ticketing websites, event websites, and even lots of the less–known websites that are harder to find!

We are a new service, developing new features and adding more listings everyday. We would love to hear your questions and comments, so if you have any thoughts you want to share, just send us an email.

OUR CORE SERVICES

To ‘Help you find tickets faster’ MyTickets offers 4 core services – search, browse, alerts, and requests.

Search

Search – When you know exactly what you want, our search engine will ensure we get you there within a few seconds. And check out our ‘predictive text’ feature – you will never misspell an event again!

Browse

Browse – When you are not sure exactly what you feel like doing, our Browse section offers a huge range of listings in 12 catagories & over 100 subcategories. Browse by price, place, category and time. We‘ll help you find an event for every occasion.

Alerts

Alerts – If it's not listed on MyTickets, or tickets aren‘t on sale yet, create alerts (via email or SMS) to be notified when your favourite artist, event or even genre comes to town.

Requests

Requests – Use MyTickets Request It! to invite the artist you love to the location you want. Imagine that!

Member benefits

Member benefits – When you become a member of MyTickets you get free usage of bookmarks and saved searches. You can also manage, edit, and update any Alerts or Requests you create. Sign up for the MyTickets customised newsletter so you never miss an event again!

OUR TEAM

Co-founded in 2005 by advertising veteran Jack Singleton and online specialist Christopher Plowman, MyTickets is funded by Marinya Media (the Fairfax family’s private investment company).

Joining MyTickets is a solid executive team from the best international online businesses.

Gabrielle Requena spent 4 years at eBay in Senior Marketing and Strategy roles and has joined MyTickets as Marketing Director.

Barry Evans, the former Chief Operating Officer at both Virgin Mobile Australia and Engin, has come on board as COO for MyTickets.

OUR ADVERTISING PROPOSITION

Advertising with MyTickets will ultimately enable all ticket sellers, promoters, producers, artists and venues an online advertising channel to target a captured audience in the mindset of buying tickets.
