What is a Request?

My Tickets ‘Request It!’ empowers fans to collectively persuade artists to stage an event in their area. By making a Request on MyTickets you let artists know where they are most in demand. So if you’re tired of waiting for your favourite artist to come to you, Request It!

How do I make a request?

To make a request, just click on ‘Request It!’ located on the navigation bar at the top of the page and follow these 3 simple steps:

  1. Enter the name of the artist you want to request.
  2. Select a location that you want to see the artist.
  3. Sit back, relax and let artists and promoters schedule events around you!

How do I join forces with other people to get an artist to come to my area?

If you really, really want your favourite artist to come to you, check out what other people have requested in the Hottest Requests section on the Request It! page and just click the ‘Request’ button next to the artist you want to request.

You can also ‘Tell a friend’ by clicking the link next to your request. Enter your friends email address and hopefully they will join your request to build some momentum.

Can I change the location that I want an artist to come to?

Of course! If you want to change the location that you want your favourite artist to come to, you will need to register with MyTickets or sign in.

  • Once you are signed in, click on ‘My Account’ located in the navigation bar on every page.
  • Once you are in the member control panel, simply click on the ‘Manage your Requests’ link in the My Requests box.
  • This will take you to your My Requests page. To update your Request location, just click on ‘Edit’ link beside the Request you want to update.
  • Then just enter your new location in the ‘where’ field.

Can I delete a Request?

Sure! If decide that you don’t want the artist you requested to come to your area that much anymore, you can delete the request.

To delete Requests however, you will need to register with MyTickets or log in.

  • Once you are logged in, go to the Member Control panel and click on the ‘Manage your Requests’ link in the My Requests box.
  • On the My Requests page, find the Request that you want to delete and just click on the ‘delete’ link next to the Request.
